Discovery of the Burgundy Climates

In 2017, the « Association of Climats of Burgundy » (Burgundy vineyards) joined the Conseil Départemental of Côte-d'Or and Côte-d'Or Tourisme to celebrate the 80 years of the Road of Grands Crus. To celebrate this birthday, we will go back through our history, to allow you to discover or rediscover the Climates of the Burgundy vineyards.

For the occasion of the « month of Climates », we will provide you a guided visit of the oldest cellars of Beaune, which extend for one hectare (2,5 acres) in the historical heart of the city having belonged to the Canons of Beaune, to the Dukes of Burgundy, to the Kings of France and since the XIXth century, property of the family Drouhin.

And to allow you to discover the complexity of the Climates of Burgundy, we will provide you a tasting of 7 wines (4 whites and 3 reds), which will take place in the old winery of the Collegiate church Notre Dame from the XIIIth century, an exceptional framework for unique wines.
