On the occasion of the 155 th Hospices de Beaune wine auction, the Maison Joseph Drouhin has created a special tailor-made tasting, where rare wines and some old vintages will be offered to honour this special annual event.
The third weekend in November is the occasion for wine-lovers from around the world to assemble in the heart of Beaune to observe, or participate in the most famous wine auction in the world.
For this occasion the Maison Joseph Drouhin will embark you upon a voyage back in time during the discovery of the most ancient cellars of Beaune followed by an exceptional tasting of 6 of our emblematic wines.
- A personalised discovery of the cellars of the Maison Joseph Drouhin, formerly belonging to the Canons of Notre-Dame church, the Dukes of Burgundy and the Kings of France. These prestigious cellars cover more than 2 acres, hidden beneath the cobbled streets of Burgundy's wine capital.
- Following on from the visit; you will participate in a commented wine tasting of 6 of our wines, specially chosen for this occasion, accompanied by Gougères (Burgundy speciality; little cheese puffs)
